I just updated web view on my N5-same thing. It's definitely a compatibility issue with the newest web view version. Although I'm rooted, I didn't uninstall the app but disabled it thereby uninstalling the update (v 43, I think). That's why disable/enable works. Just be sure not to have auto update turned on or else it will just update again.
