Both pop and imap options are there -- just follow the prompts. If you select the:
I want to enable POP radio button it will give you the POP setup details. [If you select "imap", you'll get those instead.] After selecting the "POP" option, select "Other" as your device/client and you'll get the incoming/outgoing mail server specifics, etc. I actually think that K-9 is configured to know about gmail, so if you take the "Next" prompt I think it will fill things in correctly.
