Hi, sorry for my bad english. I've a server imaps+smtps (dovecot + postfix) with plain password authentication.
I've my self signed ca, client and server certificates. With thunderbird I can connect, but I'm looking for some android client. I've imported my cert.p12 client ( with ca) , so android accepts server cert. If I select plain password, my server refuses connection with: "dovecot: imap-login: Disconnected (client didn't send a cert):" If i use "cert" auth, k9 do not send password, so my server refuses connection. My question is: it is possible to send client certificate with password authentication in k9mail ? Is my certificate wrong ? k9mail seek some field in certificate or sends client cert only if auth setting is "cert" ? ( and not "plain" ) If so, it is difficult add cert to plain password auth ? I can help in debug, but I lack android and java skills Regards, Mauro -- -- You received this message because you are subscribed to the K-9 Mail Users List.
