The more text on the internet regarding k-9 mail apps' massive, unforgivable security vulnerabilities, the better. I wish i read some of it before i had my passwords floating around on my phone, stored in open text on this app for a year.
To be fair, k-9 isn't the only app with this issue. Remenber, if you can restart your device and go into your email app straight away, download and send emails without entering passwords this means you are generally in bad shape and should reevaluate the security of your email app. Unless ofcourse the app uses oauth to log in to mail accounts, then you may be ok in that situation. -- -- You received this message because you are subscribed to the K-9 Mail Users List.
