I had the same problem with K@mail setup with error message saying 
incorrect username & password for my Gmail account. I found post somewhere 
that mentioned " allow less secure apps access to google" account in 
privacy and security settings and after turning this on my K@mail account 
now working with Gmail again. I think Google changed their security 
settings a couple of months ago as this coincided with my gmail messages 
stopping in K@mail account. Hope this works for you
