Is there a way to display Outlook type emoticons in the K-9 message view? I mean specifically the emoji style where the HTML part of the message has this kind of thing:
J This is from a message I just received today. In message view K-9 shows just 'J' instead of a smiley. However, the smiley face shows up fine both in the notification preview and K-9 preview. I guess it could be the preview is based on the plain text version of the message where the emoji is a normal unicode emoji (hex sequence e2 98 ba aka "WHITE SMILING FACE" in unicode parlance. Can I do anything? Should I report this as a bug? -- -- You received this message because you are subscribed to the K-9 Mail Users List.
