Hi, I'm experiencing the same issue with Samsung S6 @ 5.1.1 and Sony Z1compact @ 5.1.1. It's modest when using WLAN but when I'm on G3/G4 after charging the battery K9 mail is high scorer on my energy consumption list! Before screen or anything else. I'm syncing 2 IMAP mail boxes using push and have disabled samsung push-service. Good luck fixing this soon! Best Ralf
