I have two Nexus 6 handsets, both running Android 6.0.1. One is running K-9
V5.008 (Stable), the other K-9 V5.107 (Alpha).

I have 8 email accounts (mostly POP), each of which has a different colour
associated with it [Settings > Account Settings > General Settings > Account
Color].

On the Alpha version, when I receive a new email, the icon in Android's
Notification Drop-Down list is the same colour as the account colour. On the
Stable version, these icons are grey for all my accounts.

Is this feature only available in the Alpha version, or have I missed a
setting somewhere?

I also notice that the Alpha version has a global setting [Settings >
Notifications > Lock Screen Notifications] which is not there on the Stable
version. Again, is this a difference between K-9 versions, or due to
something in my Android settings?

Many thanks for any pointers.

Q: Why is top-posting such a bad thing?

A: Top-posting.

Q: What is the most annoying thing in e-mail and newsgroups?
