New user, grateful to find K9 app after Marshmallow broke Samsung stock email delete of messages locally after deleted from server.
Mostly intuitive operation (thanks!) with 2 notable exceptions, both in the messages list. 1) I see in the documentation online that the message list screen shot has the account Name and email address of the currently selected account clearly displayed at the top above the list of messages. On my device (Samsung Galaxy tab S2) I see a) email address but no Account name if I have Auto sync enabled, or b) text "synching disabled" with nothing to identify the account if I have Auto sync off system wide. I generally like to keep sync off and do manual fetching of messages, but with this interface I can't tell which account I'm in. Is there a seting somewhere I missed? How do I get the account name display as is shown in the app documentation? 2) In every other Android email app I've ever used, it is possible to swipe messages in the list to delete them individually with no other click needed. This doesn't appear to be working in K9. I thought perhaps that was because I didn't have gestures enabed in k9 settings Interaction, but even after turning that on, no swipe to delete. Am I mising something? Appreciate any tips on either issue. -- -- You received this message because you are subscribed to the K-9 Mail Users List.
