It sits in the outbox. The only message is a "Failed to send" message from 
email. 

It happens intermittently on just about any network I've been on, including my 
home network. 

How do I tell if SMTP or Webday is being used?

What does it do instead of sending? Just hang? Are any errors received?

By any network does this include your home network or might it be that the 
email port is blocked?

Is it WebDAV or SMTP being used?
