Hi, I have been using K-9 for years and never had major issues. Recently though, it kept getting stuck in background -- no email is received until I force stop and restart it. In the meantime, it drains battery in a few hours if I don't stop it.
I have 4 accounts: yahoo, gmail, hotmail and a private imap server. I've tried to search for the problem. One mentioned about dovecot setting which I followed, changed the ping to 24 min on the private imap. However, that does not help. Another thing I can think of is hotmail is pull instead of push.
