Ah, so that's what happened to attachments; I thought the update had broken them! I didn't think to scroll to the bottom of the email.
I would also vote to move the buttons back to the top, or put them in the "more" menu, or something. I also get a lot of email threads that grow to be very large, and scrolling to the end can be tedious. Plus, it's no longer obvious if there *are* attachments when reading a mail. Hmm, even an "attachment" icon (e.g., a paper clip such as on the index) in the header area would work -- anything as long as it's at the top!
