They are hard to describe, but there are many cases where drafts are lost. This is receent since last update.
On test case: start a message with title and small body, switch app (k9 says it will save draft ), comme back to k9 by app switch (directly in email editor ). Go to desktop, start k9 via icon (it will start main interface ), go in draft folders, open last message, title is good, body is empty. Sometimes the folder menu may show begin of body in folder view, proving its stored somewhere, but taping message to edit it, body is empty. This is a critical case : data loss (or inaccessible ) while app said data were saved. In some case (draft on imap ), the body messages is already sync and can be retrieved on server, even when k9 will start editor with empty body. I use k9 since 4y, never had that bug.
