I usually set to fetch every 5 or 10 minutes, and that seems to work _once_ [ that is, I see "next poll in 4 minutes", it polls, and then Synching disabled. I set it for one minute and that seemed to have it on almost continuous poll [maybe it was every minute but it seemed like a lot]... and then after a while [as right now on my tablet] "syncing disabled".
