Hi guys I have been using k9 mail for years and for the most part I have not had any major issues but overnight I believe I have had one overnight. Normally I would keep wifi on and this would not have been an issue but I forgot to turn it back on after being out yesterday. Since 7pm yesterday my k9 mail client used 1.2 gig downloading zero emails. I have the latest Android version too as it was downloaded yesterday. I am uncertain why it would need to use this much data especially over mobile. I am thinking that it is more likely a bug in k9 than a mail provider issue too.
May I suggest if nothing else that in future it would have the smarts to realise that it is using a lot (50mb+) of mobile data and just stop using anyone until there is user ok and or you are connected by wifi. -- You received this message because you are subscribed to the Google Groups "K-9 Mail" group.
