I've got a Verizon Kyocera E6810, running Android 7.1.2. I'm using K-9 Mail v. 5.403; my email server is KolabNow.com. I just got this phone last month, and have had this problem since day one.
While the account settings for Sending Mail match what KolabNow lists for the K-9 app, and the verification process works, I am not able to send new messages or reply to received messages. I get an Android message - "Failed to send some messages. Error: no valid recipients". No problem sending the same email messages to the same addresses from my laptop using LiveMail.
