Have you tried to sync the Sent folder manually?

Nothing to do with settings - folder (I can change the folder, but what is shown is always the same: the folder of only mails sent from smartphone). Note than on my smartphone I have to use as smtp not google, as on my desktop, but an italian provider smtp, with an email account different from the desktop one.
