(Before I file an issue I wanted to ask if others agreed.)

I get notification mail that is very brief, and once I see it, I want to
get rid of it quickly. In the new mail notification there is "mark
read" and "delete". "mark read" does what it says, and I use that when
I want to leave the message in inbox.

But, "delete" moves the message to my Trash folder (which is correct)
and does not also mark it read. Technically this is correct, but to me
the human action of "delete this message" means that not only should it
get moved to trash, but also that I shouldn't have unread messages in
trash.

I realize some people might actually care about the separation of
marking read and deleting. But I suspect most want messages that they
are deleting from the notification also marked read, because they
probably mean "get rid of this and I don't ever want to see it".

What I really want is an action in the new mail notification which does
"mark read AND move to trash".

What do others thing? Should delete just mark read? Some config about
other options? Am I the only one?

(And, I should say this is my big problem with k-9- which is a great
place to be. So thank you to everyone.)
