Interesting. I don't have that option on either the 10+ or the 8 yet the 8 gets email almost instantly and the 10+ takes a long time, if at all.
I thought maybe the phone was putting the app to sleep to save battery life but K9 is not. I've had K9 on many phones for many years and never had this problem.
