It's too simple to need any, perhaps?
In the recently revamped testing build, it's Settings - Export/Import.
I can't remember exactly where it was in the older builds, but it was
fairly obvious.
You can choose whether to export just the core settings, or account
settings too. I choose everything.
Account passwords are not included in the export, so need to be
re-entered after import.
Export to e.g. Google Drive. Then import from Google Drive on new phone.
Or export to a local file, and copy that however you wish to the new phone.
It works well, I've done it many times, for the whole family every time
they get a new phone.
cheers,
calum.

sorry, that email got away a bit too quick.
Meant to say: it /is/ easy, I've done it countless times.
If it's not working for you, give more detail, please.

k-9 has an export/import mechanism for settings, so it should be easy.
Where do I find docs on this feature?
I'm looking at <https://k9mail.github.io/documentation.html> with no joy so far,
