The app continues to go back and dredge up old "unread" emails and notify me about them. It is over notifying.
Some of these have been read but I marked them unread to remind me to go back and review them later. But for some reason K9 mail chooses to remind me of older emails if there are no new emails to notify me of. It's like a dog with a bone - "Look what I found! Can you read me now? How about now?" It's annoying because I try to stay focused and only want to look at my phone when I absolutely need to.
