New question #108430 on Kabikaboo:
https://answers.launchpad.net/kabikaboo/+question/108430

First off, I'm pretty happy with this project as-is. On word count, though, it
would be helpful for the lazy among us to have a little more fine control over
what parts of the document get counted at any one point.

For instance, right now I can get stats for an individual node, or for the
entire shebang. It would be nice to be able to highlight, say, the three scenes
that make up a chapter and get a word count, or to exclude a section I've set
aside for story notes when I want stats on the rest of the project.

And I have to give you guys a round of applause. Kabikaboo is the first app
I've found since switching to Linux that suits the way I work. I was a
Scrivener guy in Mac OS X, and got to the point in Ubuntu at which I started
running a hackintoshed virtual machine to use it. No need for that anymore, and
it looks like Kabikaboo is going to keep getting better. Thank you so much.
Looks like I'll have to start pushing Kabikaboo to the non-Mac people in our
little writing group here (some of whose members you may have heard of, and
some of whom teach English at KU).

Thanks again, guys. If I knew the first damn thing about writing code I'd offer
assistance, because this is pretty much what I'd write if I knew how to do it.
As it stands, though, I'll just pimp it whenever opportunity arises.

All the best,
-Rob
