Hello Scott, In the sniffer code the check is already there. The sniffer starts only if the interface has the same network id as the local host. Actually this bug shouldn't appear at all. Can you please send me the debug dump?
I am still facing the problem with the NID synchronization on LAN for groups. The problem is if I have the different persistent NID information on a PC1 and PC2 with different group arrangement (the group sequence). The Group information on PC1 and PC2 will get exchanged but it will be different on both the machines. Please suggest some remedy to this problem. And what should happen if the user on PC3 starts the kaboodle with the group name that is actually used for some group in kaboodle already running on LAN with different device information and with different sequence number?
