        Heya. Please try installing WinPcap, and then scanning your
LAN. We got some wires crossed in one of the recent releases so that
LAN scanning seems to depend much more on WinPcap than it should.

        I'll be trying to fix that for the 1.0 release. WinPCap
should only be needed for "passing detection" of LAN devices. But,
alas, not so right now.
