David:

Heya; great suggestions, thanks! We're going to try to
incorporate a lot of Window's "built-in" remote-desktop support
for the next release, and adding the remote-re/boot stuff would
be a naturally good addition.

And while I'll hope you'll use that when it's ready...
there's a pretty good tool out there now which may suit your
immediate needs:

If that works for you, please tell Steve I said Hi. :)

cheers,
Scott

Great product! I use VNC, and it's nice to have a central "location"
(program) to manage all my machines.

Suggestions: as you probably know, there's a nice little utility
called psshutdown, available here:
http://www.sysinternals.com/ntw2k/freeware/psshutdown.shtml
that lets you shutdown remote machines. (My guess is the folks at
sysinternals wouldn't mind you incorporating it, as long as they got
some recognition; either that or write your own.) It would be a
great addition to Kaboodle. On the flip side (i.e., the startup
side), the ability to turn machines on (via wake-on-lan) from Kaboodle
would be great too, and that's a little tiny bit of code, as you
probably know. I could send you a dll if you want, but it would be
written in Delphi (pascal) so you probably wouldn't want the source,
and thus you probably wouldn't want the binary!

Anyway, thanks again!

Sincerely,

David Jenkins
