Hello Kaboodle Developers & Helpers, it seems that Kaboodle 1.02 freshly downloaded a few minutes ago from the web page, doesn't like to install on my NT machine. The machine has the basics that are pointed out by the web pages to be needed. The installer continues to say "This program requires Windows NT version 4.1.2222 or later".
The computer is an older Athlon 750 with 512 MB RAM and a German version of Windows NT 4.0 Workstation - which says to be version 4.00.1381 - installed. Of course, this includes service pack 6a and all the later hotfixes. So there would be two suggestions. Either rewrite the version check making it accept NT machines with windows versions less than 4.1.2222 or exclude NT from the list of supported OSes. ;)) Anyway, the problem is not too hot, as this NT machine is not my main PC and just providing a few applications needed less often. Best regards, Mathias -- A system admin's life is a sorry one. The only advantage he/she has over Emergency Room doctors is that malpractice suits are rare. On the other hand, ER doctors never have to deal with patients installing new versions of their own innards! ------------------------------------------------------- SF.Net email is Sponsored by the Better Software Conference & EXPO September 19-22, 2005 * San Francisco, CA * Development Lifecycle Practices Agile & Plan-Driven Development * Managing Projects & Teams * Testing & QA Security * Process Improvement & Measurement * http://www.sqe.com/bsce5sf _______________________________________________ Kaboodle-user mailing list Kaboodle-user@lists.sourceforge.net https://lists.sourceforge.net/lists/listinfo/kaboodle-user To UNSUBSCRIBE, click on the above link.
