I have found
that when I Remove WinPCap, from my system that the Kaboodle interface will
nolonger crash, and the service will not connece to another PC on my network which
it sees. I went and downloaded the new 3.1 version of WinPCap and have
installed it and the crashes are back. If I ignore the Kaboodle network
window utility dialogue box which pops up and look at the caboodle window, it
has properly identified all of the components and devices but when I try to
connect to the other PC I get a message that says: Failed beginkaboodlelistenPartner()
message. I have also found using the sygate personal firewall that
npf.sys is being blocked but turning off the firewall does not stop this from
happening and so I am needing some help getting this up and running. Bill Wray |
