As a lurker on this list for many years now, and also developer of the CVSps utility, I find it amusing to see this in my mailbox! Of course my opinions are biased, but I think CVSps is great. Not only do you get unique commit id's, but it understands tags and branches, lets you filter on files, authors, date ranges etc. It's also really useful if you want to do a commit-by-commit merge from one branch to another. It does not currently manage your actual commits, but only works after the fact (i.e. can't send the email for you etc.). Anyway, if you have any questions about CVSps, or find any bugs (god forbid - 2.0rc1 has only one known bug, a daylight savings bug), let me know!
