By the way, are there any outstanding issues with respect to the Java Sound code from your perspective? Are there reports from users trying to use it in kaffe?
It worked well for me last time I tried the pure java mp3 and ogg players. It actually helped track down a resource usage problems with the jitter ;) I've heard that it works for others, too. Unfortunately, I don;t have a linux system with a supported soundcard, atm, so I can;t test it.
