Yes, when I said "actively refuse" I meant that the developers have been contacted privately and still insist on keeping the dependency, despite knowing told that this will make their software break on Free VMs.


Even if my proposal is adopted it would be very bad to just start putting programs up there without giving their maintainers a chance to redeem their software.

We could even be very generous and allow the project maintainers to submit a short quote to be used in their defense, that would show up along with the Hall of Shame entry.
