non-Chinese mailing-list.
In Arsene's defence, though, I don't think he has a choice. The Chinese signature (mini advertisement) at the end of his message was automatically generated by yahoo.com.tw, his free email provider. As far as I know, all of the free email providers append those sorts of mini advertisements to the end of their messages. If the Yahoo/Taiwan free email is anything like my Yahoo free email, he doesn't even have a choice about what character set to send his messages in, so he's stuck with Big5.
