Not sure it this will work, but on my SuSE 91. (using kernel 2.6 - same
as Fedora) I have to set ulimit -s 8000 to get it to build. Seems that
something is different with these distributions.

Hi Minh,
I suggest you try the latest CVS for this. It is
known that fedora has
strengthen the security which causes the heap
memory
to be protected
against execution (in particularly). This is has
been fixed in the CVS.
