After some more research, it seems that OS X has issues with vfork/fork and the default number of processes a user can run. Is there a way to control how many processes kaffe creates during the build/test phase?

Hi,

When running make check the tests are failing due to resource issues. My guess is that there is something wrong with the threading system. Or maybe this is just a makefile issue.

FAIL: ArrayForName.java
/bin/sh: fork: Resource temporarily unavailable
/bin/sh: fork: Resource temporarily unavailable

This continues for the rest of the Java tests.
