This may have worked and now kaffe on FreeBSD 5.3-RELEASE
configured with unix-pthreads has passed all regression tests.

Great! Thanks a lot, this makes Eric's tinderbox freebsd machines happy too, passing all regression tests with jikes or kjc under pthreads.
