and the build fails, since a lot of files are missing. Extracting with gnu tar produces a clean tree, and allows to build, but i still get the: /usr/pkg/bin/gtar: kaffe-1.1.7-rc2/kaffe/kaffevm/hashtab.c: implausibly old time stamp 1970-01-01 01:00:00 /usr/pkg/bin/gtar: kaffe-1.1.7-rc2/kaffe/kaffevm/inflate.c: implausibly old time stamp 1970-01-01 01:00:00 messages Cheers, antoine
