No, it isn't yet.
We'll need to fix the README and http://www.kaffe.org/building.html.

Secondly, Alexandre keeps recommending automake -i, but be
aware that this requires a very recent version of automake.  The
chances are slim that you have this version of automake, but not 
gmake installed on your machine.
