Sun has recently released a lot of information about the standard representation of serializable Core classes, which made it possible for us to be compliant, even if the internal implementation and representation of classes is different. We may have to write explicit serialization code, though. TVT has recently contributed serialization code for a lot of classes, but I'm not sure they've implemented them all already. > Is it possible to serialize & deserialize StringBuffer object across > Kaffe's and Sun's JVM.
