Subject: using kaffe

Hi list.

Sorry for the simplicity of this question, but, what do I need
to tell Kaffe to execute my classes? I use Debian stable, and
kaffe 1.0.5.

kaffe exper.class

produces

java.lang.NoClassDefFoundError: exper/class
        at java.lang.Throwable.<init>(Throwable.java:38)
        at java.lang.Error.<init>(Error.java:21)
        at java.lang.LinkageError.<init>(LinkageError.java:21)
        at
java.lang.NoClassDefFoundError.<init>(NoClassDefFoundError.java:21)

Do I have to set environment variables, etc?
btw, I use jikes to compile.

Thanks for any help!
