10. sbt gen-idea works fine for me when I update lib/ with the sbt-launch.jar
from
http://typesafe.artifactoryonline.com/typesafe/ivy-releases/org.scala-sbt/sbt-launch/0.11.3-2/sbt-launch.jar.
Can you try again and email me the full log?
11. To select a specific version of scala, use the "++<version>" syntax. For
example:
./sbt "++ 2.8.0 package"
