Hi Matthew, This week we tried to upgrade Kafka trunk to Scala 2.9.2 at LinkedIn. The unit test failure requires one small code change to make it work. I'm working with another developer to upload a patch for trunk to https://issues.apache.org/jira/browse/KAFKA-139
