i found your installable PyTiki package (actually stumbled upon it at 
http://tinyurl.com/br389a).

it works wonderfully, but there were some packages i was missing to have 
it install. Since there's no cue from setup.py as to which packages one 
should have (only cryptic error messages), maybe including this info in 
the README is in order? The ones i was missing were (on Ubuntu Intrepid)

libusb-dev
python-dev
