Sorry, that's due to google groups/me rather than to you. In order to cut down
spam to the group, the default settings are set such that user's mails are
moderated until explicitly confirmed as OK.
This allows anyone to post to the group, but holds all spam, or any other such
nonsense from hitting the group :)
Specific settings for the curious reader:
Who can post messages?
_ Managers only
_ Members only
X Anyone can post
X Hold messages from non-members for moderation
Message moderation
_ All messages are held for moderation
X No moderation - messages are delivered directly
X Messages from new members are moderated
More thought out reply to the content of the mails in a bit :-)
