I found several issues in the user guide (one is the maven bug posted earlier).
It took me quite some time to get everything up and running and considering the
fact that a couple of different apache software projects need to be combined I
created a more elaborate user guide (not much attention to layout yet). I found
some part of the current guide ambigious and if people want to use this
interesting project it should be made much more easier to get things up and
running (e.g., why use maven and ant?).
