Exactly. Once you get down to messaging you will surely find Axis2 core to be much more easy to program than Axis1.x. IMO it should be possible to get most of these things done with Axis1.x as well, but it will require lot of tricks at best. However, Axis2 in underdevelopment and may not be as stable as Axis1.3. So you can expect a lot of bugs as well as a lot of support in getting through those. The difference between Kandula2 and Kandula_1 is that former is based on Axis2 and the latter uses Axis1.x. Apart from that Kandula_1 allows you to import and export transactions to/from j2ee (see jsr 109 - enterprise web services) which will be important when you try to bridge different tx-domains. So for a first implementation neither should make any difference. If you are using Kandula_1 use Axis1.3 and Tomcat 5.0.28. U will also need Maven 1.x thanks, --dasarath > Thanks, > ~Thilina > On 11/4/05, Georg Hicker <[EMAIL PROTECTED]> wrote: > > > > Hi! > > Thanks for your warm welcome. > > As we are only new to Kandula we tried to set up an eclipse project.
