CALL FOR PAPERS: ISLAMIC BUSINESS AND ENTREPRENEURSHIP CONFERENCE 2009 (iBEC2009)
Theme: Developing Entrepreneurship in Fostering Economic Growth. Introduction Entrepreneurship is the engine of the economic growth and development of a nation. Therefore it is really important for any nation to focus, instill and foster the entrepreneurship culture and mind set to its society. This conference aims are to stimulate the development of new and existing entrepreneurs and to discuss on the improvement of entrepreneurship activities based on syariah rulings and principles. The first conference of Islamic Business and Entrepreneurship Conference (iBEC) 2009 is thus an earnest effort undertaken by the Students’ Entrepreneurship Training Secretariat (SeLKS), Islamic Science University of Malaysia (USIM) with the cooperation of the Faculty of Economics and Muamalat, Islamic Science University of Malaysia (USIM) and Malaysian Universities Students Entrepreneurship Council (MAJLIS KEUSAHAWANAN MAHASISWA UNIVERSITI-UNIVERSITI MALAYSIA, MAKMUM) to discuss matters pertaining to entrepreneurship. The theme of the conference is “Developing Entrepreneurship in Fostering Economic Growthâ€. Objectives of the Conference: * To assist and encourage the development of quality entrepreneurs, competent and forward looking in all sectors and instilling the entrepeneurship and cooperative culture. * to disseminate information and opportunities about the entrepreneurship development as the catalyst of the ummah development. * to become a platform for exchanging ideas between experts. * to enhance the management ability and efficiency in developing economics of the ummah. The conference will be held from 1- 3 June 2009 at USIM, Malaysia. All experts around the world are cordially invited to share knowledge and expertise by presenting your valuable findings (in English or Malay or Arabic) in the conference.
