Dear Sir, I did not understand your idea, what the meaning of the ratio which you calculate? For Sharia'h analysis we calculate the forbidden expenses and divide it on the total expenses, if the result is exceed 5% we say this company is not match the Islamic criteria. But if you divide non-interest expenses on the total assets, you will got a non-meaning ratio as I know. Once we have the total non-interest expense, we divide the number over the total assets. As per my calculations, there are many Islamic banks with which the non-interest expense ratio consists of approximately 45% of total assets. Is this a normal percentage for the Islamic Banks?
