Islamic Insight international journal of islamic studies is seeking highly academic, original research contributions for its first issue to be published in Jan 2014 by faculty of Islamic Studies, Darul Huda Islamic University. Islamic Insight particularly, but not exclusively, welcomes submissions in the broad areas of Qur'an and allied sciences, Hadith and allied sciences, Islamic jurisprudence (fiqh), Aqeeda and Islamic philosophy, Muslim history and Culture, Sufi traditions, and Da'wa. Attention is also paid to works that study Islam and Muslim societies from a global standpoint and that draw on insights from such disciplines as history, economics, political science, sociology, anthropology, law, literature, culture studies, religion, philosophy, translation studies, international relations, and environment and development studies.
