Dear Dr. Kantakji, Could you please post the following in your group: Leading islamic bank in the UAE is looking for a Shariah Auditor/ Audit ManagerThe Role: The role will involve the following duties and responsibilities: 1. Assist the Head of Shariah Audit in preparing a comprehensive Shariah Audit Plan. 2. Evaluate and review the product structuring, policies and procedures in the overall bank operations as well as review the Sharia Audit Process. 3. Underline Shariah issues related to execution of cases and report them directly to the Head of Shariah Audit unit. 4. Prepare and submit the Sharia auditing reports on the transactions performed by the bank to the Sharia Board for necessary action and correction. 5. Review agreements of syndicated transactions and others before submitting to the Sharia Board. 6. Provide daily Sharia consultation to various banks departments and branches. 7. Support the Business training department for the training courses relating to Islamic banking. Requirements: University graduate. Shariah/Finance/Accouting with excellent knowledge of islamic banking products Minimum 3 years experience in a similar role and sound Islamic Banking knowledge. CSAA and CIPA qualifications is an adding value. Speak and write fluently in English and Arabic (medium command in arabic is acceptable). Candidate must possess good proposal/report writing skills.
