OK, looks like we've had a few entries, so looking at the page on the website with the rules - there seems to be a few things to decide :-)
- Deadline for Submissions: TBD. - Deadline for Community Voting: TBD - (At least 96 Hours after the "ballot" URL has been posted in the "[VOTE] COMMUNITY LOGO PREFERENCES" thread) - Deadline for Binding Committer Vote: TBD - (At least 96 Hours after the start of the "[VOTE] LOGO" thread with a summary of the community votes) How do we sort out the TBD's ? is it as simple as saying that the deadline is Friday 1st May and then the subsequent dates are 96 hours later as detailed ? Finally, I would say that although I will vote for my favourite, I see this as an opportunity to pick a design to move forward with. It could then be refined or enhanced as we consider all the places where we would like to use it. 2009/4/24 Luke Nicholls (JIRA) <j...@apache.org> > > [ > https://issues.apache.org/jira/browse/KATO-4?page=com.atlassian.jira.plugin.system.issuetabpanels:all-tabpanel] > > Luke Nicholls updated KATO-4: > ----------------------------- > > Attachment: KATO logo practice 18.jpg > > > Create Apache Kato logo > > ----------------------- > > > > Key: KATO-4 > > URL: https://issues.apache.org/jira/browse/KATO-4 > > Project: Kato > > Issue Type: Improvement > > Environment: Website, documentation, etc. > > Reporter: Stuart Monteith > > Attachments: apache kato logo 1.jpg, apache kato logo 2.jpg, > apache kato logo 3.jpg, apache kato logo 4.jpg, apache kato logo 5.jpg, > APACHE logo gold finch.jpg, apachekato1.jpg, ApacheKatoLogo.gif, KATO logo > practice 18.jpg, KTA 1.jpg, KTA 2.jpg, KTA 3.jpg > > > > > > It would be nice to have a logo that represents Apache Kato for the > website, documentation, presentations etc. > > -- > This message is automatically generated by JIRA. > - > You can reply to this email to add a comment to the issue online. > > -- Regards Adam Pilkington
