Details:

Some journal articles use a subscript in their titles, and the method of
applying this is by using math mode:

title = {Solvent {pK}$_{a}$ calculations: are we there yet?},

results in the subscript 'a' after 'pK', which is what is desired and is
valid. However, KBibTeX automatically adds a backslash, which nullifies the
command to subscript:

title = {Solvent {pK}$\_{a}$ calculations: are we there yet?},

Manual intervention to correct it by editing the source results in KBibTeX
automating the backslash again. This issue does not exist for superscripting,
and no backslash is automatically appended onto the carat.

Other than that, your work with KBibTeX has been very much appreciated :)
